It is very important to understand that the success of these Free Zones will not be over night in the next 10 years Dubai will be the center of these respective industries.

Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority (DMCC)

Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority (DMCC), a government entity established in 2002 to enhance commodity trade flows through Dubai, performs several roles, which have firmly established Dubai as a regional and international trading hub.

DMCC regulates, promotes and facilitates trade across a range of commodities sectors, including gold, diamonds, pearls, precious metals, tea and cotton. Major multinational companies as well as small and medium enterprises in the commodities sectors have made the Jumeirah Lakes Towers district their home.

 

International Media Production Zone (IMPZ)

International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) in Dubai is a dedicated media production zone designed to meet the unique needs of the global media production industry. The business park serves graphic art, printing, publishing, packaging and media production companies. 

Companies benefit from Free Zone privileges of 100 percent ownership and tax free income in addition to a range of customs duty exemptions including those for machinery, equipment, raw materials and spares. Furthermore, rules governing media production have been simplified to facilitate ease of operation for companies. DUBAILAND

Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), a 100% government-owned free zone, was established following Law no 16 of 2005 of the Government of Dubai, with the Mission to "facilitate and promote modern technology based industries" thus supporting the region's demand for business expansion. A full package of incentives and benefits are provided to companies operating within the free zone. Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) is a technology park and provides both a living and working integrated community.

 

Dubai International Academic City (DIAC)

Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) is the world’s only Free Zone dedicated to Higher Education. Established in 2007 as part of TECOM Investments, DIAC aims to develop the region’s talent pool and establish the UAE as a knowledge-based economy.
